Frozen green peas from Egypt: fine or medium, grade A or B?

How we size, grade and colour-sort Egyptian frozen green peas, and how to pick the right spec for retail, foodservice or industry.

Green peas are one of the most requested frozen vegetables, and two choices decide most of the order: size and grade.

Size: fine or medium

Fine peas are smaller and look delicate in a retail bag or a side dish. Medium peas suit stews, rice dishes and mixes with carrots or green beans.

Grade: A or B

Grade A is the most even in colour and size. Grade B is a practical choice for industry and foodservice, where the peas are cooked into a dish. Every lot is colour sorted.

Frozen individually

Our peas are IQF — each pea frozen separately — so they pour freely and you use only what you need.
